Steamed, Jhol, Mala or Fried? A Quick Guide to Momo Styles

Same dumpling, four completely different experiences. If you've only ever had momos steamed, you're leaving a lot of flavour on the table. Here's the rundown.

Steamed

The original and the purest. Soft, juicy, and all about the filling. Start here if it's your first time.

Jhol

Momos served swimming in a warm, spiced, slightly tangy soup. Comfort in a bowl — perfect for a cold Brampton night.

Mala

Tossed in a numbing, fragrant Sichuan-style chilli sauce. Bold, a little addictive, and not for the faint of heart.

Fried

Pan- or deep-fried for a crisp golden shell while staying juicy inside. The texture move.
